Maybe you recognize this. You have a great relationship, a couple of great friends, and a job. And yet something bothers you. You want something else, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. You have had this feeling for a while, it comes and goes. And you don’t want to ‘complain’, because you have everything…

Or you had everything going for you and then something happens that turns your life upside down. You lost your job, for example. Or your relationship is over.

Then it can simply happen that you get stuck. You want to move forward, but you don’t know how. There may be ‘voices’ telling you: “Nobody is waiting for you” or “You can’t do that anyway”. That you become very good at giving priority to other things. That you feel a bit numb and down.

The above are often symptoms that you are no longer fully at the helm of your own ship. Currents, tides, and wind have free play. Without noticing it takes a lot of energy to keep your ship on course. Going in a whole new direction is not even on the table.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be in very calm clear water? Where you can find peace and quiet to plot a new course. Where you can tidy up the messy bunk and throw unnecessary ballast overboard. And, that there is a pilot on board who knows the waters like the back of his hand. With whom you can consult before you hoist all the sails and set off on a new adventure.
